During winter months most stations will only sale #1. You can use #2 but I would suggest an addative to ensure it does not freeze. Staydane or Powerservice (white). The other question is were are you moving to? Winter varies depending on were you are. I live in the balmy tropic (Coastal) were cold is usually not an issue. If you are living/moving to the colder regions consider an oil pan heater, front bra, battery heater and even an oil pan heater on your tranny. Another option is an programable auto start device. The higher end ones can be programmed to start up your truck when it COLD and run them for a preset time then shut down. It will cycle through that until you turn it off. Hope this help.
