Ok,Ok........MY secret.......use an oven thermostat

Watertank eliments are junk! Barely a high-temp cut-off switch! Oven thermostats on the other hand are made to hold the temp +,or - 2-3 deg. Much better! And you can "hang" the temp probe most anywhere.
