Treat the problems separately.

For the P0401, clean the throttle body ports, then be prepared to replace the DPFE sensor. Don't bother replacing the EGR valve, they seldom go bad.

Cylinder #2 is the second cylinder from the front on the passenger side. Plan on replacing the COP and the plug using plenty of dielectric grease on the new COP's boot. If the plug is very fouled, replace all of the plugs as a follow-on project. Use only the Motorcraft plugs specified at www.motorcraft.com If you have never had the plugs replaced, they're probably well worn.
