I was wondering if the byproduct of biodiesel could be used in a waste oil furnace. I installed one in my shop last year and was thinking that I could burn the byproduct and then there would be 100% usage of the WVO.
I built two burners last year, a "turk" burner and a "babington" burner. Both would burn glycerol but only if i preheated to 250 deg F, and mixed it with no less than 25 percent Biodiesel or "slime" from my bio settling tanks. I would try it at lower consentrations and see how it works.
