Accumulator is not the same as the evaporator. Accumulator is tank looking device underhood near firewall on passenger side. Evaporator is finned unit inside heater and A/C housing. Orfice tube is inside evaporator inlet pipe where high pressure line (bottom pipe) from condenser (in front of radiator) attaches.
