Every time you fill up try to do it at the same pump. Record the miles driven since you last filled up. Use your trip odometer or paper records. Divide the number of miles driven since the last fill by the amount of fuel you just added to fill the tank. The result is your Miles Per Gallon. If the result is real high or real low there was probably a mistake somewhere.
