I always used a drag net on a 10 ft piece of conduit to dragup crayfish out of road ditches. I made it out of wire mesh & a couple of round metal rings to shape it. I can catch a bucket full in just a little time. They are great fish bait. I like the small ones for big bream. The bigger ones are great for catfish.
