Using Dodge bed liner in 66 F100

This stems from having spare time, a new rotary cutting tool and a spare Dodge bed liner.

Looking at some of the posts noticed that the basic bed dimensions seemed to be the same for the newer Dodge trucks and my 66 F100. Had a spare bed liner laying around for the Dodge and spent about an hour with the rotary tool carving clearance for it to fit into my truck.

I've put pictures in my album.

Question is are there any suggestions on how to address the issues around wheel well clearance? The Dodge liner wheel wells are much smaller and I had to cut the wells out for it to fit. What I have now is fine for random trips to the dump, etc. (ie - put liner in, load junk in the bed, dump junk, take liner back out) but it is too ugly to leave in place. (Maybe wheel wells out of another liner, etc. -- if so how do I mate the parts, ????????)

I figure someone must have tried something similar or have some good suggestions.

Thanks for the help.
