BS, a friend put a 90 LT-1 in his 78 Formula Firebird, swapped out the TBI for an Edelbrock intake and carb, they failed him because his numbers were TOO LOW, told him it wasn't putting out enough, there is no minimum to my knowledge.
I've heard of people who have gone, passed with flying colors, but when the testor remembered to cat check, they fail for it not being there, if they pass without it WTF do they need it for.
I want to put real tags on the F-150, but it's not running well enough to pass, damn Holley thinned my oil. Looking to finish getting the engine tuned, then take it in to testing, I'll see about tagging it then for everyday use.
