Hydrogen Injection

My boss just brought me this "hydrogen generator" to look at and put in his suv. This is a unit that uses potassium hydroxide, water and an electrical current to produce hydrogen. It's a piece of 4" low pressure black pvc, capped, with what looks like metal kitchen sink stoppers, 3 bolts that run through the sink stoppers which are the electrode termanials (a positive, neg.,and a "sense" "level" to run to 12v light) and 2 hoses, (a drain, and one to run into the air intake hose of the vehicle). His question to me was do i think it would harm his engine in any way. I know it'll produce water, but i don't think it'll make enough to matter, but i really wasn't sure. So I figured I'd post it here to see if I could get some feedback on what ya'll thought.
