Question Trident 5.4L history?
Hey Folks,


I've been trying to settle an argument. <O</O

Anybody know how long the Trident 5.4L has been around? I know the 5.4L has been made at the Windsor <ST1</ST1(sp?) plant’s since 2002, but where were they made before that? Curious because my Supercrew with its Trident 5.4L is a 2001.

Also am I wrong or isn’t a “Trident” (as in Poseidon’s “three” fingered pitchfork) the designation for “all” three valve (24 valve) engines? i.e trident = three.
