'53 Lightning

I have a '53 Ford F100. It has a highly modified Ford 400 motor. I am in the midst of an EFI conversion. I am mounting a Cobra TB on a 4 barrel carb conversion manifold. The TB faces the front of the motor. I bought a Lightning Cold Air Kit from BBK. It has the air box and filter as well as a cast aluminum Inlet Tube. I also have a 90mm MAF.
The MAF will mount to the air box, but the outlet side of the MAF is 4" diameter, and the inlet side of the BBK Inlet Tube is 3.6" diameter. Also there is quite a distance between the MAF and Inlet Tube. I have no connecting tubing.

What is between the MAF and Inlet Tube on a stock Lightning?
Can anyone send me or post a photo of a stock lightning?
