I normally ride as well but I'm going to Wisconsin from Wyoming and were going to be riding all over out there for 10 days or so. When I go home (Wisconsin) I like to get there and have more time to ride out there. I rode out there and back a few years a go and the return trip from Lincoln to Cheyenne is absolute torture on a bike.

1/4 inch steel plate with weld on trailer D-Rings. You can get all sorts of weld on D-Rings from welding shops that build custom trailers.

Yes, these tiedown anchors are for real. I could probably jump the truck and the bike wouldn't budge.
