I have the same noise at idle, I noticed it at a drive through. I have a 03 F150 5.4 it has 15,000 on it. I opened the hood and used a sounding stick. It seems to be a couple of noisey injectors. I took it to Ford and they said this is normal. I am going to keep a ear on it though.
