Thanks bc, chiltons is showing that to run the fuel pump you need to ground the fuel pump test lead that is the port on the short side of the trapezoidal connector (it doesnt have any connectors above or below it). I'll try to confirm this for you tonight when I get home and look at the book. After doing more research on this connector type, it looks like the eec test connector is only going to be on EEC-IV equiped engines, so that would explain why I never could find it on my engine which is EEC-V equiped.
