My cousin's 97 F150 5.4 2wd lasted more than 150,000 miles and is still going. The only thing that he had to do is replace the normal front end parts and perform standard maintainance. The dealership just gave him $4,000 in trade for the 97 last Tuesday on a 2004 F150 4x4.

Mustangs are fun but I know too many people with pony cars and the such that just suck up money. My brother's 97 Stang has 10,000 in aftermarket parts and it just sits in his driveway most of the time. My cousin has a mint 92 Stang that he paid $16,000 just two years ago and then along came his baby daughter so, that car sits and collects leaves. I myself have $12,000 in a supercharged 90 cougar XR7 that has been in storage for 3 years because of tuning problems and rusty rocker panels.

Just give me a Ford truck any time that I can run over curbs with, not be afraid to hit a deer, and drag Chevy's out of the mud and snow all day long.
