Thumbs up

Ok this is how a Ford F series truck steering colum works. On my old 1994 F150 you can put the key in the ignition - you need to remove the plastic cover that surrounds the bottom of your colum. Look very closly and you will see a little pin - its about the size of a pen tip - use a small device such as a small phillips screwdriver and push in on the pin - you will need to make sure you have the key turned just slightly in the running direction. As you depress the pin pull your key out and your entire ignition will slide out. You can go get a new on from a Ford dealer for $200.00 or an aftermarket one for about $100.00 at your local parts store. This whole process is very easy but it wont work if you cannot get your key to move slightly. Its best if you have the key turned as far as you can twards the run position. Again Good Luck and I hope this helps you out - Tim
