I have my eye on a '04 F-150 the only thing holding me back is gas mileage. I hear so many different stories that I dont know which on to believe.
The truck I'm looking at has the 5.4L with automatic tranny and 3.73 rear end 4x4 and its a supercab.
If you have this set-up on your truck pleas post actual gas mileage you are getting.
Please do not give me the computer readings.
The only accurate way to determine gas mileage is to always fill the truck up to the same level then at next fill up divide the number of miles driven by the actual gallons of gasit takes to fill tank back up to the same level.

I know there are other post on this but so many people list the computer reading instead of taking the time to figure the exact mileage.
