Tire/Wheel size for 1997 F250 stock wheels

My decision came based on a good survey report at the Tirerack and a good recommendation by SoCal (Thank you) Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo's.

Now, it appears its a good time to buy them, as they have a $50 rebate.

My question is:

Currently, I have stock aluminum wheels on my 1997 F250HD 4X4 XLT. The current tires the previous owner had are Toyo 235/65-16's (Max load 3042)

Can I use the same stock wheels and move up to a 265/75-16 (which has a max load rating of 3415) ??

(Both are E rated)

Thanks, Imadummy when it comes to tires.

FWIW: The Tirerack rim size guide says '6-7" ' wheel size for the 235/65-16's and '7-8" ' for the 265/75-16's. I have no clue what size my rims are, other than they are stock aluminum rims that come with the XLT package on the early 1997 models.
