What you described is similar to what I see on my '95. I'll take the sensors out and clean them as much as I can. By the way, our local Ford dealer wants $120 for the pair of front sensors and $210 to install them. Perhaps my are different than yours but how different can they be to warrant that cost difference!!!!

I also found out that there is a TSB for this problem generated in 1998 (#980319 seq 353)but can't find a way to see what it says. Any ideas?
