Smitty's is how you say it. Smithy's is how you spell it. They're the traditional hotrod muffler from the 50's and still doing business today. They make a metal tube muffler that looks good on any flathead powered rig. I bought my last pair 2 years ago from Red Hamilton at Red's Headers in Fort Bragg, CA. They're online and great people to deal with. Smitty's are available in 22", 24" and 26" lengths. Shorter is louder, longer is quieter. Come in light metalic blue with 2" i/o tubes.

Guess I should say there has been one major change - old Smitty's were steel-packs and the new ones are fiberglass-packed.
