Hello, I read your post about the Idle Air Control valve motor. I have a 1997 F150 / 4.6, and it stalls at stoplights, stop signs, parking spaces, etc. Anytime when I slow down while in Drive. At Park, idle seems fine -- about 500-700 RPM. But as soon as I put it in Drive, RPM drops to about 300. Like you said, I have to keep the gas pedal pressed to avoid stalling. So, replacing the IAC... how much do those things generally run? Is it hard to replace? I'm not very mechanically inclined, but if it's easy enough, I will do it myself. Any help is appreciated.
