Thanks for the reply, from some friends of mine that work for International they say this engine has been around for a while already. Maybe Int. did some changes? I am tired of paying the high price and low MPG of gas but do not need a larger truck. Some people have also sugested installing a four cyl. Diesel from Cummins. They can be had with up to 200HP and 325 lbs torque. This would be plenty of power and the fuel economy should be high?
