Hi!
I just ordered a new 250 6.0 from Van Bortel in NY and
the good fellow there (!) Jeff, says *he* has been told
by factory guys that the PTO trans has heavier clutches
and bearings. I tend to believe him as he's been great with
his help to me in my choices and gets an A++ from me on this.
I will be towing occasionally, but not a lot. I sat on the
fence about ordering this since I thought being heavier-duty
would be a good thing, so I ordered my truck with it.
Does anyone else know any more about this transmission?
