The 330 motor is a MD or HD truck engine, there were 2 versions in 65 which is the shop manual all this is from. The MD version is code A on the patent plate....on the doors on F series, unsure bout the others. The code for the HD is M both have 7.6:1 compression ratio, both have dual advance distributors as well as Holley 2BBL carb. governor on MD is velocity, HD is Centrifugal vacuumbore is 3.875X 3.50 stroke on both. the HP is 186@4000rpm with 300ft lb of torque @ 2000 rpm (352 is 208 hp@4400 rpm and 315 ft lb of torque @ 2400 rpm)the oil cap. is 9 qts w/new filterMD engine has same main dia as 352, HD is slightly smallersame story on rod journal....HD slightly smaller.
