My understanding is the ball joints are a common weak point in certain ford truck and explorer models. They will squeak before actually wearing out. There are no fittings to grease, however I was able to get a grease needle in the boot, front and back and greased up real good. No more squeak. Will probably have to do again in 6 months but it is a cheap fix.
