Just found out the rear end in this puppy is a Dana 70 with 3.54 open diff.

I am not the most fond of open diffs especially on a truck with so much power. Then to find out it has a 3.54 axle ratio just plain sucks. My 88 F150 4x4 has 3.55 LS front and rear (yes LS in the front from the factory).
Good thing is that I have a D70 in the backyard for another project so if I ever have problems I can fix one or the other quickly if needed.
