You should be able to make it work, the biggest hurdle will be plumbing the single supercharger output to the twin truck throttlebodies... you will need a Y pipe of some type. The stock cam in that motor is pathetic but you can't use anything too radical, a stock 5.0HO cam with 1.7 rockers would be a good choice and would get you into a roller valve train as well which will free up some more power. A good friend of mine had a supercharged 5.0 Stang and it worked really well, the blower really woke up what was otherwise a stock motor with only 5-6psi boost.

That truck could really use some gears too.. 4.10-4.56.
