Banks IQ

Hello guys, I am new here and couldn't find my answer so decided to sign up and ask my question. I am wondering if the Banks IQ is good enough as a gauge for my 2006 Ford F350 6.0. I want to be able to know when one of the notorious components are about to go, ie. EGR Cooler, Oil Cooler, etc. I know the IQ does the EGT and a couple of other important ones. But is it good enough? It also measures fuel rail pressure from what I can see. My problem is that I bought the truck with the six-gun tuner already installed. I figure it would make the most sense for me to use the IQ since the OBDII port is already being used. Are there other gauges that do not use the OBDII port and do more than IQ? Or would it be more beneficial to remove the six-gun and just get a good gauge?

Thank you in advance,

John
