1992 F250 extended cab 4x4 460 auto

No, it's not a show truck. Yes, it will pull anything you connect to it, especially with the four wheel drive engaged!

In 1992, Ford redesigned their trucks with a sleeker body (if you can consider a pickup 'sleek'). It did help with wind noise though! This one is the extended cab, XLT meaning it has a back seat and cloth seats, carpet, etc. Interior is in fairly good shape for the age with no large rips or tears in the seats. It also has a diamond plated bed box for storing all the 'stuff' you want to have with you in a pickup but not keep in the weather! In addition, it has a brake controller with a trailer connector both in the bed and the rear bumper.

It has the venerable Ford 7.5L 460 gas engine, more power and torque than the comparable diesel without the hefty diesel premium!

It has a recently rebuilt transmission with only about 1,000 miles on it. It also has Firestone tires with about 1,000 miles on them, as well as new brakes, pads, etc. This was all done in January of 2013 at the local Firestone dealer. I have receipts for transmission, tires, brakes, etc. Virtually every inch of this truck has been gone over mechanically in the past year. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere.

It came to South Carolina from California meaning it has no rust! I live in Myrtle Beach, SC but could drive it a reasonable distance if someone were really interested.

I have primarily used it to pull my race car trailer. I got a newer truck. Otherwise, I'd have no reason to get rid of this one. It's ready to go where you need to drive it!
