So that truck above is the '79 cab on your '97 F-superduty cab & chassis frame - correct?
Doesn't seem to be as much frame showing as I've seen with other guys trying to put the older cabs on newer frames. Do you have any pics of how you did the body mounts? And did you mess with the cab floor or firewall at all to get it to sit that "low", or did you not have to?
Oh and what is the wheelbase on the '97?
The w/b only 97 donor truck is 168.5. I haven't started tearing into mine yet. It looks like I'm going to have to do some minor fab work to my 79 core support to mount on the 97 frame. And it also looks like I can retain the use of my 79 radiator with a couple of custom upper and lower hoses wich is good cuz I just installed a new 4 core . Imam the proscess of removing the damaged front clip from the donor chassis at the moment . I will be doing a step by step swap and build on this rig as well for all those wanting info on this type of project.
