First, great write up, it came in real handy when doing my install this weekend. The issue I have is my oil pressure gauge is reading very HIGH. When the engine is cold, it reads between 75-90 psi and at speed it gets very close to maxing out at 100psi. After running a while, it will hover around 50psi at idle but then shoot right back up around 90 at speed. While this is a re-man engine with 1,000 miles on it, there's no way that reading can be right.

I went with the exact setup you listed, the Glow Shift oil sandwich adapter and connected to the highlighted sensor port in the attached image. I've sent an email to Autometer as I'm thinking it's either got to be the sending unit or the gauge.

I wanted to poll the community to see what kind of readings are "normal" with the 5.4 engine.
