2007 Model Year is 5000 miles, nothing changed on the engine for 2008 but the interval went up to 7500. This is what mine has been changed at under warranty, but now that I'm out of warranty if I let it slip a little past 5K, I'm not too worried since later models were extended. Toyota Back-Spec'd many of their oil change intervals from 5K to 10K if you used certain THINNER synthetic oils. Oils have changed a lot in the past 10 years. I've always run Mobil 1 5W20 in my expedition and will continue to do so. Oil changes now will be somewhere around 6K miles now. There is another active thread for resetting the oil change life, which I've done to add a little time when my %life was decreasing from lack of use (6 month max). I use my Expy on long trips mainly so when I use it, I make up for lack of use.
