If anything it'll probably get better mileage than the MOPAR 3.6 V6 offered in the Ram 1500s. But wait 18 months after the 2015 MY F150 comes out the 8 and 10 speeds autos will be out so we could maybe see 28mpg. If we can have a larger displacement engine that can get mid 20s all day long without sacrificing power, we have the holy grail. Its highly doubtful Ford would ever try to implement the Active Fuel Management that GM has (IIRC its a troublesome setup anyway). but it could help the EcoBoost.
