Thanks for the suggestion gaga2311. I'll have to have my husband take my 02 Escape in for a transmission fluid change. Mine has been doing the same thing for quite some time now but it does it going into and out of overdrive. I get so sick of taking my vehicles in when I have a problem and have them shrug their shoulders and say "the computer says there's nothing wrong with it". (Can you tell I'm a female that gets sick of not being taken seriously!!) I told one guy at Ford I was having a problem but I wasn't going to bring it in until it died and they could tow the thing in. Had to once already for another problem. Hopefully if my husband takes it in with a suggestion the problem will get solved. I will be thrilled to death if it would quit the shuttering business!!
