I run a Comp Cam 268 grind in my /02 EFI which is converted back to Carb. I would look at a computer version of this cam for your application, the power band is roughly 1500-5800rpm.
We have installed many of these cams on chevs & fords for everyday street driven vehicles with no negative feed back.
