My 86 EGR has two vacuum lines coming off it (it's dark now I'll check for routing this afternoon if no one else has). Keep the EGR hooked up, it allows the engine to run more advance wiithout pinging, also will give you better fuel mileage. Definitely a myth that removing it makes things better...unless the system is not working correctly to begin with. ~Bill
