It can take up to 24 hours for the changes to register and take effect. Also, if you don't get en e-mail asking for your shirt size, fill out the form Adrian linked above and they'll get it straightened out for you.
You might also try logging out of FTE and then back in again which sometimes resolves it. I'll check back periodically and if it doesn't activate, I'll contact the membership folks for you.
