Take a look at your Fuel Pump Driver Module. I am not certain where they put them on the 2010, But it should be on the rear frame rail either just behind the rear driver's side tire, or just in front of the spare tire on a frame rail there. It is about 4.5" x 4.5" black box with lots of wires and just 1 connector. When they fail, they "cook" and smell bad. They vary voltage to the fuel pump. My wife's failed on her 06 Navigator. It was an easy inexpensive fix $135 from NAPA.
