The C6 master overhaul kit comes with a very detailed & complete instruction manual. If ya can build a model car and follow instructions anyone can over haul a C6. Yes there are a few things to know that can help. Like stack the clutch packs in a coffee can with proper type trans fluid and let them suck up all the ATF they can hold for at least over night. A few days is okay but be ready to install them and don't let them dry out before filling and using the tranny. This is one reason I am cautious of buying an off the shelf tranny. How long has it been on the shelf. Ya sure it will work with them dry but they will wear out faster. And pre lube everything. I use White lithium pre lube from Napa. (Not on clutch packs) AND after a hundred or so miles change the fluid and filter.
