Well po381 is an open circuit fault in the glow plugs which is probably why the no start/ hard start showed up. As far as the no power goes I would need more info i.e. fuel pressure loss color of smoke if any and whether of not it falls flat on it's face or if it is just more sluggish then normal. Also ambient temp at the time of the problem not exact but you know real hot real cold
