Thanks guys. After buying a newly rebuilt 66mm TP38 from James (Barders), he educated me on how to install the oil seal ring, (and he has screwed up a few too LOL),
When inserting the shaft into the bearing cartridge, roll the seal in, do not tap it in.
I chaffed the housing and shaft. Couldn't trust the turbo anymore and considering the remote areas I drive too and work at I just went ahead and got a new one.
Should be fun with the new sticks soon.
