Yeah because in the 80,000 miles I put on my company expedition with rear air ride that was off road almost daily with zero failures it sure was expensive and had a lot of issues...oh wait...my warranty claims were related ESP related. Never once did I have one issue with the air ride. I wouldn't get one without the air suspension personally, I searched around for mine and finally found a dealer with several in stock.

I will say I would wait if you can and go EL vs regular. I've got a 2013 4x4 standard length king ranch and with the 3.73s man is it a dog. E85 makes things a bit better but only if you are in an area that has it. My previous Expedition was a XLT with leather in the EL flavor. The ride difference between the two is night and day. The EL is MUCH smoother and MUCH more stable at highway speed. If you have the room in the garage and extra cash I would highly advise going to the EL for the ride difference alone.
