I have a '63 Uni long bed. The vin number is F10JK343704. It is on the Warranty Plate.
It was suggested that someone has changed the doors but they are correct with the straight body line. Also the information on the plate corresponds to the vehicle for the rest.
The CA DMV has it listed as a 1966 Model Year.
I need some verifiable documentation that I can take to DMV and show that this truck is a 1963 and NOT a 1966.
Vehicles are not registered by VIN's stamped on Warranty Plates, as they're too EZ to change. Vehicles registered by hidden frame VIN's.
F10 = F100 2WD
J = 223 1V I-6.
K = Kansas City MO Assembly Plant.
343704 = 1963, assembled October 1962.
