I'm running a C6 with a 23in Lokar shifter. Wouldn't have it any other way.

I know that this is an older thread. I am a new member and have a 1965 F100 with a 352 CI. It has an "A" for the transmission code in the warranty plate. So with researching threads on this site (and I did a bunch before asking my first question) I was able to figure out that of the seven or more different trannys, it is the 3-speed Ford Standard Duty Transmission. I have a C-6 transmission from a 1978 Ford F250 that was paired with a 460 CI engine. I saw someone posted that a C-6 from a 460 will not bold up to my 352. Is there a conversion kit/Plate? Or is this just not possible. Also, is this worth doing? Benefits/Drawback/Headaches??? Thanks in advance. This site is priceless!
