I just ordered the Ecoboost. To me it's a better choice. I'm not concerned about the turbos. Had one in my 05 diesel and was pushing it hard. They aren't the turbos of years ago. Proper shut down and they will last as long as anything else.
Proper shut down isn't even needed anymore with these turbos because they are also liquid cooled as well as oil cooled just for that reason!
