My 2 cents is to go with the F-450 7.3L DI turbo diesel engine and 4-speed automatic transmission. The durajunk's aluminum heads are gonna blow off one day and the 8.1L is good but a gas hog and wont last as long as a diesel 'well maybe the it ill out last the durajunk'. The 7.3L diesel has proven its self over and over were i live and i would not drive anything else. Those chevy trucks are just trouble. Go with a relible ford.
