Good news, Mark. You will get mixed opinions on this subject. If it makes you feel more comfortable, change it. I see that as cheap insurance. I let my dealer persuade me to wait and after 5000 miles, I couldn't stand it any longer and had them change it. My first oil change was half price is why I let them do it. I do my own service work. Have for 40 years. Can't make myself change now. According to some, the "factory junk" has some special additives in it to aid in the break-in process. IDK
