It was in chrome. I removed the mirror head/arm, and installed my NORS Yankee day/night mirror in its base.
Looks good, and works better than the stock mirror because it is wider. A better field of view,
and no blinding at night.
Headlamps reflecting off that flat back glass is a pain in the donkey, I fixed that on my '65. Read post 4 again, I forgot something, edited it in.
