I am sure it will do you fine, ours is used mainly for towing and the occasional trip but we only tow our trailer maybe 6,000 miles a year and haul water once a month. So a diesel was just wayy over the top especially as our 34 1/2' V nose trailer only weighs abt 8500. It is also nice to be able to just go out and turn the key at -30 and drive away 2 minutes later when needed without plugging in.
